Bethel wins going away against Greenville

The Bethel Bees had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Greenville with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 58-39. That 19 points margin sets a new team best for Bethel this season.

Greenville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Layne Hocker, who scored nine points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Drew Hamilton, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Bethel's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Greenville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Bethel will square off against Covington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
