Volleyball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burlington Grayhounds.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Burlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Monticello has already played their next contest (against Beckman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Burlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Springville on the 20th.
