Volleyball Recap: Zionsville Falls Short Against Ranked Westfield

Zionsville faced Westfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shamrocks. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Shamrocks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Zionsville's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Westfield, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

Zionsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Carmel on the 10th. As for Westfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Roncalli on the 9th.
