Newfane wins going away against North Tonawanda

Recap: Newfane Panthers vs. North Tonawanda Lumberjacks
Even though the Newfane Panthers have not done well against the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Newfane was the clear victor by a 58-37 margin over North Tonawanda. This was payback for Newfane, who suffered a 67-61 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Newfane got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Dickinson out in front who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 15 rebounds. The contest was Dickinson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Luke Emmons, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Newfane's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for North Tonawanda, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newfane will challenge Western New York Maritime Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Tonawanda, they will head out on the road to face off against Olean at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
