Football Recap: Mission Starts Season with Loss at Home

Mission couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Irvington Vikings 50-0 on Saturday. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured 11 defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Irvington's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Angel Perez, who threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes.
