Volleyball Game Preview: Glenn Grizzlies vs. Vista Ridge Rangers

Glenn is 0-6 against Vista Ridge since January of 2024 but things could change on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m.

Glenn is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Round Rock, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Vista Ridge faced Bowie in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Rangers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Vista Ridge got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

Vista Ridge's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Glenn suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Vista Ridge in their previous matchup last Wednesday. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
