Aztec had to settle for second on Saturday, but Cadin Anderson sure wasn't going down easily. Anderson was dynamite, striking out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Anderson and Aztec will head out on the road to square off against Gallup at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
