Baseball Recap: Othello Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Othello had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the R.A. Long Lumberjacks by a score of 4-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Zayvier Olazcon was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Jaxon Gomez also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Othello pushed their record up to 21-5 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for R.A. Long, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10-1.
