Volleyball Recap: Centennial Falls to Beverly Hills in First Game of Season

Centennial unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Beverly Hills Normans on Friday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-8, 25-9.

The win made it two in a row for Beverly Hills and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Centennial will take on rival Hawthorne at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Beverly Hills is set to face off against their familiar foe Culver City at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
