Softball Game Preview: Scottsburg Warriors vs. Corydon Central Panthers

North Harrison hit Scottsburg with a 13-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors came up short against the Cougars, falling 16-2. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Cougars since on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Corydon Central has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.68 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 22-12 to New Albany. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Addyson Robinson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Rease Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Corydon Central's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Scottsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.
