Soccer Recap: East Hall Takes a Loss

East Hall lost against Jefferson back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The East Hall Vikings lost 10-0 to the Jefferson Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Dragons are ranked 22nd).

East Hall has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season. The win (which was Jefferson's third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Coming up, East Hall will square off against Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they are taking a road trip to challenge Dawson County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
