Madisonville is a perfect 4-0 against Silsbee since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, Madisonville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-51 to Brenham.

Meanwhile, Silsbee lost to Westside on the road by a 56-42 margin on Saturday.

Silsbee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Madisonville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Madisonville skirted past Silsbee 63-60 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
