Soccer Game Preview: Chicago Christian vs. Bishop McNamara

The Chicago Christian Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chicago Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Chicago Christian picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Manteno. That's two games straight that Chicago Christian have won by just one goal.

Garret Murphy and Casey Lenarz scored both of Chicago Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.

Meanwhile, Bishop McNamara came up short against St. Anne on Friday, falling 8-1.

Chicago Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Bishop McNamara, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Chicago Christian took their victory against Bishop McNamara in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
