Basketball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

After flying high against Zimmerman on Friday, St. Francis came back down to earth. The Fighting Saints were dealt a 75-40 defeat at the hands of the Monticello Magic on Tuesday. The contest marked the Fighting Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Francis' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Monticello, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Saints will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
