Basketball Recap: Wabasso Comes Up Short

Wabasso was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-24 defeat at the hands of the Springfield Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Rabbits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 387th, while the Tigers are ranked 192nd).

Wabasso's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Springfield, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

While Wabasso had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
