Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buhl). They walked away with an 18-13 victory over the Homedale Trojans on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The team relied heavily on Porter Higley, who scored four runs while going 3-for-4. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Remington Higley, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Buhl always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .614. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Buhl's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Homedale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Buhl by a score of 4-2 later that day.
