Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Comes Up Short

St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Cotter Ramblers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ramblers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Monday.

Cotter found their leader in sophomore Sydney Repinski, who had 14 digs and three assists.

St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Cotter, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-7.

Looking ahead, St. Charles will challenge Plainview-Elgin-Millville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cotter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Cochrane-Fountain City on the 11th.
