Soccer Game Preview: Sturgis vs. Otsego + How To Watch

The Sturgis Trojans will take on the Otsego Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Sturgis is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Plainwell on Saturday. Sturgis and Plainwell finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Otsego came up short against Paw Paw on Wednesday, falling 8-2. While losing is never fun, Otsego can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 346th, while Paw Paw are ranked 125th).

With that draw, Sturgis' record moves to 8-5-1. As for Otsego, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 2-9-2 record this season.

Sturgis took their win against Otsego in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
