Cornerstone Christian Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hayworth Christian Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cornerstone Christian Academy took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-5, 25-13.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe Clanton, who had nine kills and four aces. What's more, Clanton posted five assists, the most she's had over her last two matchups. Another player making a difference was Ada Ferguson, who had ten aces and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Cornerstone Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Hayworth Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian Academy will challenge Victory Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayworth Christian, they will square off against John Yowell Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
