Basketball Game Preview: Argyle Orioles vs. Albany Comets

Argyle is 9-1 against Albany since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Argyle Orioles will take on the Albany Comets at 7:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Argyle ended up a good deal behind River Ridge and lost 82-64.

Albany has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 48-37 to Potosi on Friday.

Argyle's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for Albany, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Argyle strolled past Albany in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 50-36. Will Argyle repeat their success, or does Albany have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
