Volleyball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Eagles vs. Classical Academy Caimans

The Eagles came up short against the Caimans on Friday, falling 3-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Caimans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Santa Fe Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-19.

Joshua Marion had a dynamite game For Classical Academy., getting 27 assists and five aces. Marion is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gavin Spiess, who had seven digs and one assist.

Santa Fe Christian's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Classical Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.
