Basketball Recap: Antioch Gets the Win

While Antioch has struggled on the road with three straight losses, that wasn't the case on Saturday thanks to Heidi Rathmann. The Antioch Sequoits came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lemont Lemont HS, sneaking past 58-55 thanks in part to Rathmann, who posted 29 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Antioch's points.

Another player making a difference was Enza Nawrocki, who had 15 points. Those 15 points gave her a new career-high.

Antioch's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Lemont, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Antioch and Coal City will round out the year against one another at at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Antioch has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Lemont, they will challenge Lisle at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
