While St. John put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Woodland. The Islanders were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Wolverines. Considering the Islanders have won four matchups by more than 12 runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Will Shelton was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Shelton was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, St. John's got a massive performance out of Antonio Hernandez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Hernandez has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Micah Davison, who scored four runs while going 3-for-3.
