After losing to McAlester the last time they met, Shawnee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Wolves walked away with a 4-2 win over the Buffaloes on Tuesday.

Shawnee's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for McAlester, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shawnee is set to square off against their familiar foe Will Rogers College at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McAlester will face off against rival Coweta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
