Softball Recap: Colonial Heights Comes Up Short

Colonial Heights lost against Nottoway on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Colonials might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-5 to the Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Colonials have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colonial Heights' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Nottoway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Colonial Heights will square off against Meadowbrook at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colonials are facing the Monarchs at the right time seeing as the Monarchs are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Nottoway, they will challenge Randolph-Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
