Soccer Recap: East Robertson Falls to Goodpasture Christian in First Game of Season

East Robertson had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 8-0 to the Goodpasture Christian Cougars on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.

Goodpasture Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

East Robertson has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against Cheatham County Central on the 11th. As for Goodpasture Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Springfield on the 14th.
