Basketball Recap: Charlottesville Find Success

Charlottesville won the last time they faced Monticello and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Charlottesville Black Knights came out on top against the Monticello Mustangs by a score of 54-46.

The win got Charlottesville back to even at 8-8. As for Monticello, they moved to 8-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Charlottesville and Monticello should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Charlottesville will take on Louisa County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 191 places (176 vs. 367). Meanwhile, Monticello (ranked 159th) will meet Waynesboro (ranked 362nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
