Recap: Lakes Lancers vs. Stadium Tigers
The Lakes Lancers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They managed a 57-52 victory over Stadium. The win was just what Lakes needed coming off of a 62-22 defeat in their prior contest.
Samara Oliver was on fire: she dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ehmarii Mcchristian, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Despite the loss, Stadium still got an impressive performance from Mya Penswick, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. Jaci Graise was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Even though they lost, Stadium were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Lakes' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Stadium, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3.
Lakes will head out on the road to face off against Silas at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Silas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Friday. As for Stadium, they will be playing at home against Spanaway Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spanaway Lake comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
