Basketball Recap: Mooseheart Comes Up Short

Mooseheart had lost five straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped down to 3-10 to make it six. They had to suffer through a 71-40 loss at the hands of the Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions. Red Ramblers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Warrior-Lions since Thursday.

Despite the loss, Mooseheart still got an impressive performance from Tosin Isola, who posted 17 points. With that strong performance, Isola is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Ndayizeye, who put up seven points.

As for Harvest-Westminster, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-13. The game was the first time they have beaten Mooseheart on their court since January 12, 2018.

Harvest-Westminster's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leo Swziec, who earned 14 points. Evan Abrahams was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Mooseheart has already played their next contest, a 70-51 loss against Westlake Christian Academy on the 3rd. As for Harvest-Westminster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-45 defeat against Schaumburg Christian on the 2nd.
