CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from De'Mya Barrett. Everything went the CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] Eagles' way against the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix on Tuesday as the CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] Eagles made off with a 38-18 win thanks in part to Barrett, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine steals. Barrett is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jayda Preston, who posted eight points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kendall Hawkins, who had seven points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, and Ellie DiChristina, who posted no points.

CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy]'s victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] will take on Capital Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they will face off against Classical Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
