Westmont had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Christ the King Gladiators. That's more bragging rights for the Sentinels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Westmont was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11.

Daylah Belmonte was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last ten contests.

Westmont's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Christ the King, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4-1.

Coming up, Westmont will welcome Proviso East at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Christ the King, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northtown at 6:00 p.m. on October 3.
