Volleyball Recap: Bradley Central Comes Up Short

Bradley Central managed to slip by Cleveland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears came up short against the Blue Raiders on Monday, falling 3-0. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bradley Central was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.

Libby Stewart paced Bradley Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Stewart got some help from Lillian Winters and her eight assists.

Bradley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Cleveland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-18.

Bradley Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against East Hamilton on the 30th. As for Cleveland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rhea County on the 30th.
