Basketball Recap: Tuscola Takes a Loss

Tuscola was the 53-37 winner over Maroa-Forsyth when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the Tuscola Warriors and the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans didn't end well, with the Tuscola Warriors falling 62-44. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 349th, while the Trojans are ranked 110th).

Tuscola's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Maroa-Forsyth, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuscola will venture away from home to square off against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they will head out on the road to face off against Clinton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Clinton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Maroa-Forsyth surely won't give up without a fight.
