Volleyball Recap: Livonia Comes Up Short

Livonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pavilion Golden Gophers. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Gophers from their previous meeting back in September of 2021.

Livonia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pavilion, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Livonia will square off against Dansville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pavilion, they will be playing at home against Geneseo at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Golden Gophers surely won't give up without a fight.
