Wells had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 42-point drubbing they dealt American Heritage Academy on Saturday. The Wells Leopards simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the American Heritage Academy Patriots 48-6. The Leopards have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 28 points or more this season.

Wells is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.0 points per game. As for American Heritage Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Wells and Carlin will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for American Heritage Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
