Football Recap: Teton Falls Short of Weiser in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Teton can now relate to. They took a 40-21 bruising from the Weiser Wolverines on Saturday. The Timberwolves just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Luke Nelson threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns.

Weiser got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ty Cobb out in front who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Those 132 rushing yards gave Cobb a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Herrera-Garcia, who picked up 45 receiving yards and three scores.

Teton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Weiser, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Teton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Weiser, they will challenge Homedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines' defense better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 41.6 points per game this season.
