Softball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost 16-2 to the Anderson Trojans.

Amaya Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Anderson, they moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Bartlett didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-1 loss against Taylor on the 28th. As for Anderson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-2 defeat against Elgin on the 28th.
