Baseball Recap: Shiner Takes a Loss

Shiner was the 19-1 winner over Fayetteville when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Shiner fell 4-1 to Fayetteville on Tuesday.

Shiner saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Pohler, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Shiner's record is now 11-4. As for Fayetteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Shiner and Fayetteville will both be playing Flatonia the next time they take the field. Shiner will host Flatonia at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Fayetteville will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
