Football Game Preview: Mt. Whitney vs. Tulare Western

Mt. Whitney will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Tulare Western in at 5:00 PM. Tulare Western will be strutting in after a win while Mt. Whitney will be stumbling in from a loss.

Mt. Whitney had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-57 defeat at the hands of Tulare Union.

Tulare Western had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered El Diamante 48-0.

Mt. Whitney's loss took them down to 0-1 while Tulare Western's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Mt. Whitney would reverse both their bad luck and Tulare Western's good luck. We'll see if Mt. Whitney manages to pull off that tough task or if Tulare Western keeps their momentum going instead.
