Softball Recap: Andrews Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Andrews's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Swain County Maroon Devils on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Maroon Devils: they've now lost nine in a row.

Andrews saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Moses, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Moses brought in this season.

Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Swain County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Maroon Devils beat Andrews by a score of 19-1 later that day.
