Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They came up short against the Hale County Wildcats on Saturday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Central now has a losing record of 10-11-1. As for Hale County, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-4 defeat against Brookwood on the 7th. As for Hale County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against University Charter on the 6th.
