Gar-Field got themselves on the board against Potomac Senior on Friday, but Potomac Senior never followed suit. They blew past the Panthers, posting a 40-0 win. Given the Red Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Panthers are ranked 231st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Gar-Field's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Potomac Senior, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
