Chattahoochee County proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 20) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Macon County Bulldogs out 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since December 28, 2024.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lavoris Smith, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards Smith has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joshua Fulks, who went 5-for-11 en route to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Chattahoochee County has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. As for Macon County, their loss dropped their record down to 19-5.
