Baldwin extended their winning streak to six on Thursday, bumping them up to 9-2. Everything went their way against the Shaler Area Titans as they made off with a 12-6 win. The Fighting Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

As for Shaler Area, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since June 12, 2025.

For Shaler Area's part, they got a good showing from Colby Colamarino, who pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Luke Glaser made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Ben Yeckel was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baldwin will host Connellsville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shaler Area, they will welcome Pine-Richland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
