Basketball Recap: A&M Consolidated Comes Up Short

A&M Consolidated was the 63-60 winner over Rudder when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The A&M Consolidated Tigers received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 77-62 to the Rudder Rangers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Defeat or not, A&M Consolidated got some senior leadership from Jacob Stolz and Damarcus Hamilton. Stolz posted 17 points, while Hamilton put up ten points. That's the most points Hamilton has posted since back in November of 2024.

Rudder got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayden Holmes out in front who went 5-for-10 on his way to 16 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jaquise Martin, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

A&M Consolidated's loss dropped their record down to 13-20-1. As for Rudder, their record is now 15-17.

As of now, neither A&M Consolidated nor Rudder have any future games scheduled.
