There's no place like home for Fowlerville, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They came out on top against the St. Johns Redwings by a score of  9-6  on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gladiators also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2024.
Fowlerville let  Tommi Kleinschmidt and  Kiely Davis run wild. Kleinschmidt  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double, while  Davis  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  RBI and two  runs. That's the most  hits  Kleinschmidt has posted since back in April of 2024.  Avery Borg was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple and one  run.
 Fowlerville was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .517. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Fowlerville is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for St. Johns,  they are  on  a  21-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fowlerville will square off against Lake Fenton at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Gladiators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 8.3  runs per game this season. As for St. Johns, they will challenge Portland at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
