Baseball Recap: East Clinton Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

East Clinton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 8-4 to the Clermont Northeastern Rockets on Tuesday. The Astros were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Clermont Northeastern and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Clinton will square off against Lynchburg-Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clermont Northeastern, they will venture away from home to square off against Georgetown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
