Softball Recap: 11 Straight Home Victories for Mount Horeb

There's no place like home for Mount Horeb, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors 9-8 on Saturday.

Delaina Nicewander was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Ruby Dahlk was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

Mount Horeb's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
