For West Side's part, Ty Hewitt and Keegan Towell made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Hewitt struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Towell tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hewitt has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
