Baseball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin fell victim to Bellbrook and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 7-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Franklin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Standifer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Standifer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Franklin's record is now 5-8. As for Bellbrook, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Franklin will take on Tecumseh at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellbrook, they will face off against Oakwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
